Brooke’s Green Smoothie | Good Morning, Green Smoothie

I make a smoothie about 6 mornings a week. Once in a while, sadly, we run out of spinach and I have something else. But pretty much every day it’s green smoothie time.

My standard recipe includes 2 BIG handfuls of spinach, an apple, some other fresh fruit, some frozen mixed berries and about 6 frozen pineapple chunks.Once in a while I’ll add chia seeds or hemp seeds or almonds, but not always. I top it off with water or NingXia Red, an antioxidant drink. Tastes great, goes together fast, and doesn’t taste like spinach. What more could you want.

Just so you know, I don’t use anything connected with a cow — no dairy, no beef, “no nuthin’.”

My machine is a NutriBullet and it’s a powerhouse. Way less expensive than a VitaMix, but it works so much better than the Magic Bullet. Its capacity is about 32 ounces and the motor is much bigger than the Magic Bullet.

As I was reading some blogs the other day I happened upon a few smoothie recipes I’d like to try. So I’ll share them with you. If you try this one, leave me a comment and tell me how you like it.

Brooke’s Green Smoothie | Good Morning, Green Smoothie.

Until next time.
